I have a 41 fire tube, 4" vertical boiler, with a 3" ceramic burner, already, and I'd like to go up a size or two. A 6" fire grate does really seem to me, the minimum requirement for a satisfactory coal fire, and I'd really like to go bigger, but the price of 8" heavy wall copper tube, is a bit of a heart stopper.
